Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 19, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how AI-Do ("Lytr LLC", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with transparency. Sharing only what you want to share, is really the entire point of this application!

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — when you register with an email and password, we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password.
  • Google sign-in data — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, and store them to identify your account.
  • Chat content — messages you send to the AI and responses from the AI are stored in our database to support your chat history.
  • Usage data — we track token usage to enforce subscription limits.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your account session
  • Deliver and display your chat history
  • Process AI requests on your behalf
  • Enforce subscription tier limits
  • Send transactional emails (e.g., email verification, password reset)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your chat messages are transmitted to third-party AI providers (eg, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) solely to generate responses. These providers have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. We do not share your identity with these providers beyond what is necessary to process your request.

5. Data Retention

We may retain your account data and chat history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including bcrypt password hashing (no one ever sees your password!), HTTPS encryption in transit, and secure session management backed by a PostgreSQL database.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Contact
